Biography
Dr. Ruijuan Wang received her medical master’s and doctoral degree from Military Medical Science Academy of the PLA in 2006 and 2009, respectively. She has also completed a postgraduate program in pediatric nutrition at Boston University School of Medicine. Over more than ten years, Dr. Wang has developed expertise in common pediatric diseases and rich experience in rescue and management of neonates, especially for extremely premature and low-birth-weight infants. She is also skilled in the management of premature respiratory issues, feeding intolerance, necrotizing enterocolitis, jaundice, and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP).
Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Wang served in the NICU of the Bayi children’s hospital affiliated to the PLA general hospital. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neonatal diseases and has much experience in the management of neonates, especially in treating very premature and extremely premature infants. She has also taught graduates, and trainers, and refreshers.
Dr. Wang has more than 10 years of clinical experience. In addition to her clinic practice, she has conducted much research work in preterm diseases and gained two projects by NSFC. She has also published more than 20 papers and articles in leading medical journals. She was awarded the 3rd grade progress prize in scientific technology. She was also awarded a talent scholarship from the PLA. She was a youth member of the preterm branch of the Beijing Medical Association.
