Shangwen HOU

Dr. Hou completed her Medical Degree from North China Coal Medical University and later completed her medical Master’s Degree in Pediatrics at Capital Medical University. Dr. Hou concluded her clinical training at the Beijing Friendship Hospital. Her areas of clinical interest include children’s respiratory diseases and health issues related to pre-term birth.

Dr. Hou joined Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics in 2012. In 2014, she completed further studies at Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando in the United States.

Dr. Hou has published papers in academic journals, including the Chinese Journal of Practical Pediatrics. She also contributed to the translation and review of the Food Allergy and Intolerance section in UpToDate. Dr. Hou holds Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation certificates.
