Yong ZHANG

Dr. Zhang Yong graduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine of North China University of Science and Technology in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Medicine. He studied at the Institute of Mental Health at Peking University Medical School from 2012 to 2014 and received a Master’s in Psychiatry and Mental Health.

Dr. Zhang has extensive experience in clinical psychiatry; he completed residency training in 2009 and worked in the Geriatrics Department at Huilongguan Hospital as an attending physician for over ten years, where he developed broad experience in managing adult depression, anxiety disorders, and stress-related mental disorders.
Leveraging his expertise in geriatric psychiatry, he delivers individualized treatment plans for patients by addressing the psychological and behavioral challenges in seniors with cognitive difficulties or neurodegenerative diseases.

He also contributes to medical education and research serving as teaching secretary for the department and previously as a sub-investigator (sub-I) in several national clinical trials.

Dr. Zhang focuses on patient-centered care, has a high sense of responsibility, and adopts flexibility and thoroughness in his daily clinical work. He keeps close collaborative relationships with patients and their families to improve their quality of life.
