Biography

Dr. Liu graduated from The Fourth Military Medical University in 2002 and later received his Doctorate in ENT from Chinese PLA General Hospital and Medical School. In 2016, he studied endoscopic skull base surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) as a visiting scholar.

Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Liu worked as an ENT physician at the Sixth Medical Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Liu specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common ENT diseases in both adults and children. He has extensive experience in ENT-related surgeries, including nasal endoscopic surgery, endoscopic tympanoplasty, minimally invasive tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, and microscopic laryngeal surgeries. Dr. Liu is also an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of complex nasal diseases and endoscopic nasal surgeries, including but not limited to: septoplasty, nasal septum perforation repair, turbinoplasty/radiofrequency ablation, nasal polyps removal, open sinus surgery, resection of benign and malignant tumors of the nasal cavity/sinus, resection of nasopharyngeal fibrohemangioma, dacryocystostomy, transnasal-orbital decompression/optic canal decompression, resection of neoplasms, resection of nasal/skull base tumors, etc.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Liu has published multiple articles in prominent medical journals, including the American Journal of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Liu is a member of the Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery Committee of the China Association of Non-Public Medical Institutions. He is also a member of the Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery Committee of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine.
