• Graduated from Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and obtained bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in 1994 and 2003, respectively
• Studied under the guidance of Professor Wang Yongyan, an academician of the CAE Member, and Professor Han Jingxian, a national famous TCM master

• Worked in the Acupuncture and Moxibustion Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for four years
• Worked at the Institute of Clinical Basic Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences for four years
• 12 years of work experience at Colorado University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the United States
• Worked at Truemind Center Clinic in the United States for 10 years
