Biography
Dr. Li graduated from Hebei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1985, and later obtained a MMed and MD from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1991 and 1994, respectively. In 1993, Dr. Li began to work in the Acupuncture and Moxibustion Department of the China-Japan Friendship Hospital directly under the National Health Commission. In 2012, he took the lead in completing the applied anatomy research of needle points and in 2018, he created the visual needle knife minimally invasive technology system using ultrasound guidance.
Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Li specialized in treating chronic soft tissue pain, spinal and joint diseases, and peripheral nerve compression diseases with minimally invasive needle knife technology using ultrasound guidance.
Dr. Li has over thirty years of clinical practice experience. In addition to focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue pain related diseases, Dr. Li has also conducted extensive clinical scientific research and published over 100 academic articles in renowned medical journals such as the Journal of Pain Research and China Orthopedics.
Dr. Li is the Chairman of the Needle Knife Medical Branch of the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Director of the Ultrasonic Visualization Minimally Invasive Needle Knife Technology Committee of the National Telemedicine and Internet Medical Center, the founder of the visualization needle knife minimally invasive technology, and enjoys a high reputation in the field of visualization needle knife, acupuncture and moxibustion, and pain.
