Shaowei Wang

Dr. Wang has been engaged in clinical, scientific research, and teaching of Obstetrics and Gynecology for more than 20 years, and is skilled in diagnosis and treatment techniques of Obstetrics and Gynecology diseases. He specializes in perinatal medicine and reproductive medicine. He has worked as a visiting scholar twice at Chiba University in Japan for prenatal diagnosis of genetic diseases. He has unique expertise in high-risk pregnancies, early pregnancy regulation, habitual abortion, infertility and gynecological infectious diseases. He has in-depth research and high attainments in obstetric surgery, and in recent years, has focused on researching minimally invasive obstetric and gynecological surgery.

He has focused on research and clinical work in perinatal medicine since 1992. Dr. Wang has published more than 20 papers in core journals of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has edited two monographs on Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been awarded three third and two fourth prizes for scientific and technological progress in the army, and two third prizes for medical progress. He has won three third prizes of Army Scientific and Technological Progress, two fourth prizes, and two third prizes in Medical Progress. He has presided over one youth fund project of the General Logistics Department, participated in many national natural fund and provincial and ministerial science and technology fund projects, and is currently presiding over two national natural science funds, and one major science and technology project of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission.

Dr Wang is a member of the editorial board of several journals, including the Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chinese Journal of Practical Gynecology and Obstetrics, and the standing editorial board of Chinese Journal of Integrative Chinese and Western Medicine. He is an expert in the evaluation of the Life Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and an expert in the evaluation of the Capital Medical Development Fund.
