Biography

Dr. Peng received her medical degree from the Third Military Medical University of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army in 2000. After graduation, she worked in the endocrinology department of the Seventh Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital. She gradually became interested in psychology and passed the national second-level Psychological Consultant Certificate in 2017. From 2019 to 2021, she participated in the Child Development and Educational Psychology Workshop of the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2022, she participated in the long-term training program for children and adolescents psychological counseling at Peking University. From July to December 2023, she continued her studies in this area and attended a special training class in psychiatry at the Sixth Hospital of Peking University. She has completed a number of training sessions, including a systematic thinking and skills continuous training project at the second Sino-German Social Psychological Service Center and the fourth Mindfulness and Meditation Systematic Training Course at the Department of Psychology of Beijing Normal University.

Dr. Peng ‘s specialties include psychological assessment and mental health counseling for adults and adolescents. She uses the method of mindfulness to help pregnant and postpartum women regulate their emotions, as well as utilizes the theory of mindful parenting, whole-brain parenting, and systematic family therapy to help parents, emotional expression, and parent-child communication skills. In addition, she can help parents of ADHD children learn parenting strategies.
