Biography
Dr. Yang graduated from Peking University Health Sciences Center with a doctor’s degree in pulmonology in 2010. During and after this period, she completed the first and second stages of residency training at Peking University Health Science Center and Beijing Municipal Health Bureau, respectively.
Prior to joining United Family Hospital, Dr. Yang worked in the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Beijing Hospital for more than 12 years, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of many common, rare, or critical lung diseases, including respiratory infections, asthma, COPD, lung cancer, pulmonary interstitial disease, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary hypertension, and respiratory critical care management. She is also skilled at bronchoscopy. Dr. Yang participated in healthcare work for seniors where she gained rich clinical experience in comprehensive internal medicine and coexistence of multiple chronic diseases in elderly people.
In addition, Dr. Yang studied pulmonary hypertension as a visiting scholar at the Mayo Clinic and lung transplantation management and adult pulmonary cystic fibrosis at Duke Medical Center in the United States. She has considerable experience in end-stage lung diseases, comprehensive medical management before and after lung transplantation, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Dr. Yang is a member of the standardized training faculty of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine specialists. She participated in multiple scientific research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc., and also participated in a number of clinical drug trials. She published more than 10 academic works in SCI and domestic core journals, and complied four professional books. In 2015, she was honored with the third prize in the China Medical Science and Technology Award (establishment and application of prevention and treatment strategies for lower respiratory tract infections).
She was a member of the Cross-Straits Health Exchange and Cooperation and a member of the Tumor Photodynamic Therapy Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association.
In addition, Dr. Yang holds the qualifications of Chief Physician in Health and Sports Management. She has extensive experience in management of lung nodules found during health checkups.
