Yunchuan LI

Dr. Li is the Director of Rhinology at the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Center at Beijing Tongren Hospital, Capital Medical University. He is also a member and secretary of the Otorhinolaryngology Branch of the Chinese Physicians Association, a member of the Otorhinolaryngology Branch of the China Association for the Promotion of International Exchange in Health Care, a standing member of the Plastic and Reconstructive Aesthetics Branch of the China Association for the Promotion of International Exchange in Health Care and a vice-chairman of the Cross-Strait Geriatrics Specialized Committee.

He graduated from Harbin Medical University with a bachelor’s degree in 1988 and a master’s degree in 1996, and graduated from China Medical University with a doctorate degree in 2005. Dr. Zhang went to Greece to research and study International Nasal Endoscopic Surgery and Rhinoplasty. He worked in the First Hospital of Harbin Medical University in a number of senior positions and has served as Director of the Department of Rhinology at Tongren Hospital since October 2007. Dr. Li also serves as a supervisor of the masters students since 2000.

Dr. Li has completed over 10,000 endoscopic rhinitis, sinusitis, nose and eye related surgeries, accumulating rich practical experience and specializing in the application of minimally invasive surgical techniques. He has three scientific research achievements, three books, two national natural scientific research projects, more than 20 articles, and has trained 12 master’s degree students. In 2012, he was awarded two utility model patents for a medical wound cleaner and a nasal hemostatic capsule tube. He is a member of the editorial board of China Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and one of the top experts in Beijing.
