Dr. Pei graduated from Capital Medical University in 2006 with a master’s degree in respiratory medicine.
Dr. Pei has been working in the Department of Pulmonology of Beijing TianTan Hospital from 2006 to 2021. From 2021 to 2023, Dr. Pei served as the director of the Department of Pulmonology of Beijing Jiangong Hospital. In August 2023, he joined the Pulmonology Department of Beijing United Family Hospital.
Dr. Pei has participated in all the sections of pulmonology, including inpatient care, RICU, bronchoscopy unit, outpatient service, emergency service, fever clinic and other posts. He has accumulated a wealth of extensive experience in respiratory diseases and critical care, such as pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, lung cancer, pulmonary embolism, rescue of respiratory failure, airway obstruction, massive hemoptysis, shock, and so on.
Dr. Pei is highly skillful in bronchoscopy, ultrasonic bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy and medical thoracoscopy, and can skillfully use various treatment technologies, such as laser, electric coagulation, cryotherapy, argon plasma coagulation and balloon dilatation. He can independently complete various diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy procedures such as lung cancer biopsy, resection of tumor in trachea and bronchus, dilatation of benign stenosis of trachea and bronchus, airway stent implantation, etc. So far, he has completed more than 4,000 cases of diagnostic bronchoscopy and more than 2,000 cases of therapeutic bronchoscopy independently.
In 2014 and 2016, Dr. Pei went to Henry Ford Hospital and Cleveland Clinic in the United States for short-term study of respiratory interventional technology. In 2015, he went to Trinidad and Tobago to participate in foreign medical aid work with Chinese medical team. In 2020, he participated in the COVID-19 anti-epidemic work in Wuhan with the Beijing medical team.
