Biography

Ms. Lily Zhou graduated from Peking University with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical English, and a second degree in Psychology. She obtained a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the School of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences of Peking University.

Ms. Zhou works with children, adolescents and young adults to improve their learning skills and personal development, and to treat and diagnose depression and anxiety, behavior management and development, eating disorders, interpersonal problems, etc.

Ms. Zhou has been practicing and working in clinical psychology since 2016. Her main training experience is in the field of psychodynamic orientation. She participated in clinical practice for three years in the Counseling Center of the Department of Psychology of Peking University and the Student Mental Health Education and Counseling Center of Peking University. During this time, she also spent three years at Beijing Anding Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University. In 2017, she obtained a national third-level psychological consultant certificate, and in 2021, she was awarded a national psychotherapist certificate. She participated in the 36th training of the European Psychoanalytic Federation (EPF) in 2018, visited the summer school of Birkbeck & Chinese Association for Mental Health in London in 2019, and completed the second round of three-year and six-session Sino-British Psychoanalytic-Oriented continuous training for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. From 2017 to 2020, she received special training in Klein’s theory and technology. From 2018 to 2022, she participated in the first round of continuous Sino-European projects on basic concepts and techniques of psychoanalytic psychotherapy. In 2022, she completed the short-term interpersonal dynamic therapy training from the Anna Freud Center (AFC).
