Biography
Li, Duo MD, Ph.D, MD from Jiaotong University Medical School (1986), residency trained in Surgical Oncology from Peking Union Medical College(1988-1991), in Gneral Surgery from Xuanwu Hospital (1992-1995), Ph.D in Surgery from Capital Medical University (1998),Post Doctorate trained in Gastro-intestine from Baylor College of Medicine (2000-2002). Attending Surgeon and vice director in Department of Surgery, Xuanwu Hospital from 1999-2004.Trained and worked in Departmeniof Surgery, Innsbruck University, Austria( 1997-1998),University of Virginia, School of Medicine (2004-2010).
Dr. Li had more than 30 years’ practice in General Surgery, and performed more than 10000 cases of surgical procedures by open or minimally invasive routes, such as: thyroidectomy, mastectomy, VATS (Video Assistant Thoracic Surgery), Laparoscopic procedures, BariatricSurgery, Hemorrhoids and other anal-rectal procedures.
He won the third prize of Beiiing Science and Technology Progress Award and the secondprize of Beijing Health Bureau Scientifc and Technological Achievements Award.
He has served as a member of severa associations, including the Chinese Branch of the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and the Hainan Medical Association. He has written 4 monographs and published more than 20 professional papers in academic journals, as well as over 80 papers in Chinese core journals. He presided over a scientifc research proiect using cultured hepatocytes to assist liver function, and is currently still presiding over a key research and development proiect in Hainan Province, focusing on the preparation of folate-targeted nanoparticles carrying suicide genes and expressing PD1 antibodies for the treatment of liver cancer.
