Biography
Dr. Xie graduated in 2012 from the Chinese PLA Medical School at Chinese PLA General Hospital (301). From 2012 to 2014, she completed her standardized residency training at Peking University People’s Hospital. She then pursued specialized training in infectious diseases and hepatology at Peking University Third Hospital. Additionally, she completed a one-year advanced training program in the Infectious Diseases and Hepatology Department at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, further enhancing her expertise in managing liver and infectious diseases.
Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Xie worked at the Haidian Campus of Peking University Third Hospital, where she focused on diagnosing and treating infectious diseases and liver conditions. With over 15 years of clinical experience, she is particularly skilled in the diagnosis and management of hepatitis B, including advanced approaches to functional cure, as well as the treatment of various liver diseases. Dr. Xie also serves as a lecturer for the international ECHO project and is a collaborative advisor to the American Hepatitis B Foundation.
Dr. Xie has published research in multiple prominent English-language medical journals and is a reviewer for several academic publications. She currently serves as a council member of the Infectious Disease Physician Committee of the Beijing Medical Association. She collaborates closely with top experts from leading institutions to advance research on functional cures for hepatitis B.
