Haibo LIAO

Dr. Liao graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and has more than 20 years clinical experience. He is skilled in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgery of diseases.

He specializes in the surgical treatment of breast, gland, and thyroid diseases, especially the surgical treatment and post-operative rehabilitation of breast and thyroid cancers. Dr. Liao has researched the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases and has advanced surgical techniques. He is skilled in post-operative chemotherapy programs for breast cancer, endocrine therapy, targeted therapy, and combined Chinese and Western medicine rehabilitation programs.

He is a member of the Chinese Research Hospital Breast Committee, the Beijing Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital Management Committee, the China Association for the Promotion of International Exchange in Health Care, and the national breast cancer research project led by the Department of Breast Surgery of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. Dr. Liao is also involved in the National Science and Technology “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” Support Program for breast cancer-related research in China. He is the fourth author of the paper “Risk factors associated with breast cancer: a case-control study”.
